Hey folks!

For those of you who may have had questions (or who didn't even realize they had some questions but who wanted to know these things), we've updated the FAQ to add plenty of new information and what we hope will be an easier to navigate interface.

Expect the SFC FAQ to get a similar facelift in the future!

Of course, if you guys have questions, concerns, or just want to check in, feel free to add them there on the FAQ, pop us a PM, or ping us on Plurk.

Hey guys! I'm Amber and I'm bringing you Kiera Cameron from the TV show Continuum. Long story short: Kiera is a police officer from Vancouver in the year 2077 who ended up accidentally thrown back in time when a group of terrorists escaped their death sentences using a time travel device, which they intended to use to back back in time in order to change the future so that the corporate police state of their time would no longer exist. They meant only to go back about five years, but ended up going back 65 years instead to the year 2012. Stranded in the early 21st century, Kiera finds herself with three goals: apprehend the terrorist group, preserve the timeline she's from, and get home to her husband and son.

She's a character who really exists in a moral gray area. Kiera is a good person, her heart is in the right place, and she wants to protect people — but she was also trained (more like indoctrinated) by a corporate police force to believe that the best way to protect the people was to protect the system at all costs, and she's been known to believe that, for example, torturing someone is okay if they committed a serious enough crime. (Honey. No.) I've put her on the Hero side precisely because she does honestly want to do the right thing and because she's starting to question what she was taught at the canon point I've taken her from, but there's no telling if she'll stay that way.

She's also 100% pop culture dumb, as evidenced by the above gifs. Do troll her with references she doesn't understand and watch her get exasperated.

Anyway! I'm looking forward to making her some friends, getting her into trouble, whatever I can throw her at. I'm always happy to plot or just chat, so feel free to add me on plurk at [plurk.com profile] galaxydust if you're so inclined. (And if we were threading in the TDM earlier, I'm still up for continuing those if you are!)
